It's a shared space for all current students of Southern Cross University with computers, TV, kitchen area, seating and games so respect for the space, other students and the amenities that are provided is expected.
Students can use the fridge to store food (please label and date it), sandwich makers, microwaves, crockery, cutlery and glassware. There are also coffee, tea and sugar and a jug for you to make hot drinks. Please clean up after yourself. If cleaning supplies are low, speak with staff in the LEXSA Office, alternatively email them on info@lexsa.com.au
The Plaza Common Room is open 24 hours - students will need their student card to access the room after hours (6pm to 9am).
08. Parents Room
This room is dedicated to current Southern Cross University students who are parents.
Located within the Plaza Common Room, there are facilities available for parents including a change table and nursing chair, as well as toys and games so the kids can play. Nappies and wipes are available from the staff in the LEXSA Office if you run low.
Students can access this room through the Plaza Common Room.
09. Sanitary Items
Sanitary items are available at the LEXSA Office and in the Goodman Plaza including free condoms, tampons, pads, and other hygiene products.
Students can find supplies in the bottom draw of our Student Food Pantry, so you don't need to ask us if you don't want to. The Plaza Common Room is open 24/7, students just need to swipe in after hours using their student card.
10. Gym Passes
LEXSA has complimentary guest passes to the SCU Fitness Centre and Pool to be used by SCU students.
